After many years of working to keep him comfortable on his feet, I finally made the very difficult decision to let him go. My art has helped me process some of the grief...though I don't think there is an end really, to the pain of losing him.

The opening reception and catalog release is on Saturday, July 7, 5-7pm at the CPA gallery, Sunset Center, Carmel.

For the upcoming exhibit at the Santa Cruz Mountains Art Center, in addition to photographs, I've been making sculptures. It's been years since I have worked directly with my hands to create art. While I LOVE photography, I've missed the tactile nature of making art directly with my hands.

I am in the process of recovering from this LONG three month ordeal of pain and fatigue associated with shingles. I've been out of commission and feel energy returning! Yay!!!
